Hey bros.

I'm going to be staying on Surfers Paradise Boulevard a street or 2 back from the beach on a business conference 19-26th of august.

My questions are these.

Whats the wind like this time of year? if so whats kite sizes should i bring?
when does the sun go down? how much daylight will there be after 4.30. Will i be able to get a 5 to 6pm kite in?
are there any bans on the beaches? i intend to walk from the hotel set up on the beach and fly. is this possible?
Whats the temp like this time of year? do i need a wettie?
Is there hire gear? easily available or should i bring my own gear.

will i get eaten by crocodiles, stung by jelly fish and nibbled on by sharks?

Is the kiting good at surfers?

i would guess light winds if any
only a small time frame late in the day
not brilliant . but we always hope
more than likely some ''white pointers'' on the beach .
