hi , i have been going to moreton each year for the last 26 years, last year first for kiteing ,makes you look at the island totaly different, we where hoping for nw wind but only had ese 30 to 45 knts , not so good when learning, this year bring it on ,have now had plenty of time in surf at straddy, any wind from sw to n is good for inside of island, fantastic spot nothern end in a northerly , e to south will put you in surf or at least white water zone on easten side , all in all great allround fun , hope this has helped , let us know if you need more info.... cheers..
