Hi peoples, I'm in a pretty similar situation, just broke the learner shackles and really keen to get into it more. I live in Brissie around Paddington and usually head out to Brighton or Sandgate but I'm also interested in any other good spots anyone can reccomend. Arrived in Brisbane from the UK a few weeks ago, still a beginner, (I was starting to do okay in the UK but I have been travelling for 9 months so haven't been out on the water).
Anyway, just got myself a car so i can get to the beach now, only problem is I don't know where to go! If anyone is heading out and needs someone to go with (or can point me in the right direction of a good beach to get back into the swing of things, here or down the coast).
