just want to thank toddy1 from Surf fx for giving me a lesson y/day on the broad water, after battling for a long time trying to kite off the open beach in northern nsw i travelled up to to get some help. can't believe how everyone is so friendly and the locals help you out when its needed. so if you need some kiting lessons go to todd he's the best. its a great spot to learn, flat water and shallow, i highly recommend getting there if your starting out.
Just to add to this.. i'm another newbie to the sport.. surfed competitively most of my early life and took some time off travelling.. back in Oz and alot of my mates are now into kiting.. SurfFX in Southport also did me an awesome deal on a top level kit and lessons ( with Toddy... cool guy to learn from )
