hi im moving up to airlie beach for a month or two for work was wondering if there are many spots or any locals up there ? should i even bother taking my kite up?
Take your gear for sure. There are about 10-15 people who kite at Conway and just north to Bowen there are aout double that.
Mackay to the south has about 50 active kiters. aBout an hour and a bit drive.
