Anyone done this in a Northerly, anything to look out for? If the northerly turns out to be any good tomorrow was going to give it a go. Was going to drive to Cotton Tree and then bus it to Yaroomba.

When i go on down winder its normally always from north shore to yaroomba/marcoola in a Southerly, did it on Sunday and most of the time its great! Heaps of fun and there a often very nice breaks!
Only thing to watch is when going around the slight point (mudjimba surf club) there are rocks everywhere and the waves can suck the water off them making it quite shallow. I wouldnt get my hopes up for tomorow though TBH i think it will be raining the whole time! Let me know if your keen to catch up for downwinder though!
