anyone know if you can kite on wovenhoe dam qld don't know if it's something I will be doing for sure going up there Wednesday ,it will be further on from the wall at the camp grounds

Gusty, changeable, need support boat....
I haven't bothered. I think there are better coastal locations in a westerly. And when there's no wind, there's no wind.

Thanks looked at the blog from way back and video ,kites always in the car anyway,so I will take it mrs got the surf ski if I need her ![]()
maybe 8 months ago i was just north of there at toogoolawah at the dropzone and it was too windy to skydive and i had my kite in the car and one of the instructors there also kited so we both went and ripped in at wivenhoe and another dam there. was heaps of fun. super gusty, but it was better than sitting on our asses waiting for the wind to drop so we could go jumping.
