Looking at Seabreeze, it doesnt look like there will be much wind up near Broadbeach this coming week. I'm heading up there with the family Sunday night. Is it worth bringing my gear? Am I looking at the right forecast? (Gold Coast)

Leave your gear home at your own peril. Had plenty of mates turn up to the Goldy from out of town saying they looked at Seabreeze and decided to leave their gear at home. They were spewing of course as conditions turned on. As much as Seabreeze does a reasonable job and take their info from BOM, the perameters for the forcasts accuracy blows out day by day which can potentially be different to the end result (just call me Poindexter if you will ). The predicted forcasts over the last 6 months or so for the Gold Coast Seaway have seemed to be predicting a bit lighter on than actual wind conditions IMHO and experiences, except the real light wind days which they seem to be fairly accurate in forcasting.
