In any wind with south in it, you should head further up the beach to brighton man, cleaner wind without that headland in the way.
Yeah i did but it was botchy as it would jump from 15 knots to 30 to 15 to 0 it was only me and one other dude taking it on at sandgate. It was a harsh day
