Hey mate i know that flat rock in Ballina is awsum in the southerlies also Lennox Heads is great in the NE'S they do down winders up and down the beach by 4X4 alittle closer to home is Cabarita also a good spot then Salt at Kingscliff and Fingal then on the westerlies try Kirra hope this helps just remember where ever you enjoy the wind n waves try to stay well away of the flags and the public.

You can't kite kirra in a south to south west. It suites n/ nw. Any westerly makes pretty much all of caba and fingal and most of Salt cross off to off shore.

Guess if looking for good waves you may want off shore??

pm me if you want more info. I'm at caba.

Any good spots for a beginner around SEQ in S/SW considering I don't really want to end up on Morton Is. Or even worse NZ.....

Hmmm, not totally sure what you want to know? kite north of the head land in a northerly and south of the headland in a southerly. There's only really one exit to fingal from the highway. any un crowded car park south of the headland or north of of the headland from either the surfclub (not always suitable due to rocks, flags and headland down wind) or further north (recommended as there is heaps more room and never busy). To get further north, you take Letitia Rd. Just south of the pumping jetty gets good often.

pm me if you want any more info.
