Hi,

I know that the wind is not the best around September at Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay etc.
If there is wind, is it usually on the light side or can it also be strong?

I have 85kg and an 8m and 12m kite. Due to high excess baggage costs for my flight I'm thinking about sending one kite by regular mail (would arrive in OZ 1-2 weeks after me).

So, what do you think? Should I bring both kites on the plane or is there one kite which i probably won't need that often?

The bigger the better if you are thinking of Brisbane. I doubt if you would get a chance to use your 8m. Depends on how competent you are up and down the coast, and size of board, you might get to use the 8m in the surf.

Sept we might start to see seabreezes coming in every arvo too. Please bring some wind when you come Thomas lol.

If you get stuck in Brissy and needed a bigger kite, give us a yell. We do rentals from an hour to long term, and have the latest 09 range in stock from trainer to 19m bows.

i am the same weight riding TT only.I have a 14m and have just bought a 10. I would bring the 12 and send the 8. The probability of needing an 8 would be very slim.
