HI, I want to start kitesurfing but first want to know what is the best brand of kite and what size i should start with, I am roughly 80kg and have had experience with kite buggying and power kite (traction kites) could someone help me?
Mate you'll find that whateva kite we're using or loving at the time will be our recommendation so responces are always going to be very different and conflicting.
You'll want an 11-12m to start with, then prob an 8-9 once your keen/able to ride in more wind and get more time on the water.
Best bet is get a few lessons and see how you go with their gear first. You can buy the same stuff and be confident on it's in and outs straight up..... You gotta start somewhere and you'll more then likely change/upgrade kits after 12mths once you find your groove anyhow.
