Hey Guys, im going to Hamilton Island from bloody cold Adelaide in a couple of week time. I was just after any tips for kiting on the island, eg, banned areas, water temp, hazards etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers kitecroc

Hi, there is a big topic on hamilton island in the general forum. bad news is there is not much up there to kite from.
You can really only kite easily on the beach of whitehaven, or in hill inlet at the north end of whitehaven beach- my avatar is taken at hill inlet. If you don't have a boat on hamilton you need to get a water taxi to whitehaven- about a 40 min speed boat trip.
