Hi

I am an avid windsurfer who has had several kitesurf lessons.
Done all the basics upto actually getting on the board.
Have got a kite (GK Sonic 11m).
But what size board do i need to get me started?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's all about your size and weight.
Then it is also about the board characteristics - rocker, shape, fins etc as well.
As a rough guide:

70-80kg 135x40-41

80-90kg 138 x41-42

90Kg+ 140x43-44

don't muck around with an old crappy board - buy a decent one as it will get you through a few seasons.
