Heading sunny coast this weekend. Where is good on southeast wind? I was thinking golden beach? What tide direction do you need there?
I normally kite Cotton Tree in a NE but was driving past Golden Beach a couple weeks ago and stopped to have a look, perfect for SE (only about 6 kites were out though in around 12-14kts)
Incomming tide would be best for SE, might be there myself if I can get all my work done.

Had a few jobs that ran longer than expected this week so have to work tomorrow morning too...damn.
BTW keen to do the DI trip some time but can't go this weekend, PM me next time you're thinking of going.
LOL, was just editing post to include the DI bit, thinking if there is wind forecast we will go up on Saturday and take the kids, kayaks BBQ etc and make a day of it.
High tide is at 9:11am so would have to be an early start to go up the North Shore.
Are you guys thinking the weekend of May 11/12? I might be down for some kiting up there.
At this stage it looks like Saturday 11. With the wind direction, I think we should plan to have a down winder from Noosa end.
Any thoughts?
