Hi Seqka Crew,

Paid my aksa back at mambo but still no tag? Anyone know where or why it still hasan't managed to find me.
Address was correct and i also know few other people down southern end that also paid at mambo and still no tag either.
I was told few months back that it was on it's way.

Cheers Angie

I also paid at Mambo and I'm still waiting for my tag too.
Any idea when it might be coming?

El Presidente and Secretary Kate will be back from their holiday on Friday.

We just received details of the Mambo Sign ups as they left last week.

Will let them know upon their return.

Actually i was told it was in the mail over 2 months ago? Few other people down southern end here have got the same problem & they joined at mambo aswell. NSW got their mambo paperwork back in DEC and the got their tags out about 2 months ago.
AKSA have already told me its in the mail since last wk. It's no problem for me as i dont really care & have my own insurance but these new members do care about why it's taking so long. Just doesn't look good from their side of things.
They have wasted half the year of seqka membership, as they cant receive club info on demo days, meetings, bbq's etc.. or the seqka nights out as they aren't on database yet. They wouldn't even know who is on the committee or president. Would be great to see these new people given the opportunity to go along to next meeting or agm, as isn't that what they pay for, other then insurance.
I know the committee do hard work, i've done it myself but you have to look at it thru these new members eyes, why should we join? That's what im hearing from them coming into shop.
I can't answer it for them, i dont even have membership forms in shop still LOL! Plently of new students out there on water now and they could be members.
And if it's true that ASKA haven't passed on the paper work til just recently, then that's another whole issue really.

My thoughts,

ps, if anyone from club can post info on up and coming days/meetings etc.. on here for these new members that would be great. No one ever checks seqka site.

Hey Angie

I am not sure who told you it was in the mail 2 months ago. Certainly not from here in Qld.

As I mentioned in my previous post we had only just received the list of 5 people who joined at Mambo. (Thursday, 18 March 2010 8:13:16 PM) to be exact.

The information was passed on to Aksa from the organisers at Merimbula and then to us at the abovementioned time. So..... maybe Merimbula was the choke point.

Paul and Kate left for their holiday on the Friday and have only just returned.

I understand that the five tags were mailed out today from Paradise Point PO.

Can't work much faster than that I'm afraid.

FYI

Membership forms are easily accessable for downloading and printing at SEQKA.COM.AU or the AKSA website

Angie best if you download more from the site www.seqka.com

Also when your paperwork arrived from Mambo we have no record of your partner Paul Jackson registering with SEQKA? Could you clarify this, as he too competed in Mambo!

We have another Paul Jackson living in Brisbane and surely your Paul would have told the officials at Mambo that it was NOT him??

Thanks SEQKA
