Where: Beconsfield Tce and Nineteenth Ave, Brighton
When: Either the 29th or 30th March (wind depending)
Cost: $5 for Club members or $10 if not a member.
There will be prizes for a big air comp and best trick.
The Club BBQ will be firing up and lunch will be provided for participants,soft drinks will be available.
RAFFLE:$20 per ticket will get you in the running to win a complete 13mt Waroo,valued at $1750. There will only be 140 tickets sold and you have to be in it to win!!! You dont have to be present to claim your prize,however there will be a bonus prize thrown in if the winner is there on the day .
So all riders of all levels are welcome as Brighton is a great flat water location.

I'm a newbie to Brisbane and I've been reading about the AKSA and SEQKA, and it is my intention to join SEQKA.
If I bring my application (and cash), would that be acceptable ?

Our president has been talking with some of the locals up there and it looks like we may be changing the ride day to the next weekend (5th or 6th April) due to more favourable tides at Brighton.
I am all in favour of having water to kite on as those rocks and coral lumps play havoc with my boards !!!

Brisbane Ride Day is definately moved to the 5th or 6th of April due to tides (and lack of wind this weekend)
Heard a rumour that the food will be FREE for Brissie members who attend. This will be confirmed at a committee meeting tomorrow night.

Are land lubber photographers welcome?
I walk the pooch occasionally down there and have been known to grab a few photos every now & then too. I'm setting up a portfolio with some photos from this time last year and I would like to get back into shooting kiteboarding again.http://rally-n-race.com/events/portfolio/
Kite shots are on the 2nd & 3rd pages. It loads a bit slow. I have to cull the file sizes.

After the comittee meeting this week the Brisbane ride day at Brighton has been definately moved to the weekend of the 19th and 20th April.
Free food for SEQKA Members who attend and Red Bull from the Promo Girls.
Watch this space for the day to be called. We have prayed to the wind gods.
Contact your local riders for tickets in the Waroo 13m. Only 140 have been printed so the odds are sensational.
Tony Patrick of Mermaid Beach won the Switchblade 11 at our last ride day and has a smile from ear to ear.
