Am moving to Brisbane shortly from the UK and am wondering about suitable kite sizes...

Got a quiver of 2011 Cabrinha kites: 14m Switchblade and Nomads in 11m, 9m and 7m. The 11 + 9 + 7 are in reality more like 10 + 8 + 6 in size with the way they fly and depower etc.

I'm wondering if I need the smaller kites in Brisbane / QLD and perhaps should sell them? I visited briefly in Feb. and it seemed 12m to 14m was the 'average' size and I think read that really windy days (like here in UK) just don't really happen down there. I weigh 77kg and use boots some of the time and like to ride powered up etc.

Tips appreciated!

Hi mate!
Welcome to Brisbane~^^ Its beautiful city.
There are few spots in Brisbane(Victoria point, wellington point) but most of time going to Gold coast or Brighton areas.
I recomment 11+9 and I think 14 or 7...hardly use, take 14 as well if you can.
Nomad 11, yes, its like 10.
Hope you organize well and nice trip
SEE YA!

I'm 85kg and have Cab SBs 9, 11, and an old 14 that I never use, you can buy it if you want.

Generally kite @ Sandgate & Brighton.

I'm 100kg and I got more use from my 17m than my 11m last season.
But there were a few small kite days here and there, I just couldn't catch them.
