Hi, we are heading up to Noosa this weekend, just wanted a local (ish) opinion if its worth taking the kite gear from Melbourne or is the wind not favourable?

Does it get a good seabreeze on days forecast low? I really want there to be wind but carting all the gear plus two little kids is tricky so will leave it at home if the chances are really poor.
Saturday is supposed to be a 10-15 kt SE so you might get a 15 kt plus easterly which will be onshore so not awesome. Sunday is supposed to be a 10 kt E which will prob turn to a 12-15 ENE/NE while a better angle there is some decent swell coming up from a low travelling across the ditch which will make any light wind kiting pretty hard work.
I'd leave your decision for the last minute though, we are on the edge of a lot of systems/troughs at the moment so the models are changing a day out on a regular basis.
