Soo many kooks about at the moment on the sunny coast too.
Seems like a lot of people got kites for Christmas.

Everyone's been a kook at some stage!. Stop being one of these locals that think they have that they own the beach.. It's there for everyone to enjoy.. Even the blow in's. Could have been an experienced kiter that ****ed up.

Peace

That would take some skill given the row of houses, power lines and 40 foot Norfolk pines between the beach and the road

It has nothing to do with people thinking they own the beach, it's all about self regulation and helping to prevent accidents and tragedies before they occur. It's up to all experienced kiters to intervene or speak out as Dave has done to try and prevent any unfortunate mishaps.

Tell me Mat, what do u think will happen at KFC if a tragedy occurs involving a kiter???

The first two comments were put across more of a statements Craig, im all for self regulation and preventing accidents but labeling kiters as "kooks" or "Blow ins" doesn't help stop an accident that has already occured.

Advising new kiters to the area of the correct launch/land location for example if things are looking dodgy at nobbys and the like would have been a more a constructive criticism in a post to stop further accidents occurring.

Banter with a dash of piss take with a gentle punch in the gut. No one was hurt, which isnt bad going since his kite was bang across the whole road.

Glad u feel for kooks. He might not try the same sh itty gusty spot again tho,so thumbs up for the outcome
