Quite depressing to see awesome flat water but no wind. Even though there was a bit wind but no one kiting. An 18m chrono or flysurfer should be alright in these conditions?

So sad ...

Hopefully next week you will need the smallest kite you can get

Most impressive wind & swell chart I've seen for the sunny coast for a long time.

If that wind doesn't come in, I'm going to cry. Hanging for some real wind.

What sized kites is best recommended for the sunshine coast? I'm doing a road trip later this year and planing to travel up to QLD.

I really think the winds and rains are dieing everywhere around the planet. Soon it will be like the movie "The Road" - no wind, no animals, nothing.

I'll be wishing I had a 5m next week, all the models seem to be lining up. Lucky we had a couple of days warm up this week!

hey tractor, I'm 79kg and have a 9m naish park and 12m cabrinha switchblade. I mix my riding up between surfboard and TT & i mostly go out in 18+ knots and would consider my self intermediate.

Thinking of doing some downwinders in this hectic wind, would you recommend straps or bindings? I don't want to loose my board in the surf but I don't want to be stuck in the breakers either.. whats everyone's opinion?
Another alternative is to take my Mini Mal..

Youll get kiting most days, though Qld, especially up here, gets those winteree days either at the start of the trade high or the end that , seem like not quite strong enough for the 12 so yeh go home , don't no how many times ive looked at the set up at home and wished I had a light wind kite and im 6 3 and a 100.

If your worried about loosing your board, I'd go strapped - by mini mal, you mean just surfboard & no kite - right?
I've just got back on the coast tonight & hope to get out tomoz, looks like it was pretty gusty by todays graphs.
