Hey all,

I am new to kiting, just looking at getting into it really, and am keen to get a lesson this weekend before I go out and commit to buying all the gear. I have done a fair bit of board riding before, wake and a bit of surf, and have spent a bit of time on a trainer kite this weekend up North ( gusting 29kts at Alva thanks very much!).

I live in Brisbane but don't mind traveling North or South to hook up for a lesson ( I know the GC is going to be busy this weekend with Indy though). Can anyone recommend a good place/instructor for lessons?

Cheers guys

Andrew

Just sent you PM about our school & services Andrew. We are the only Accredited School in Brisbane and are open 7 days a week.

With your trainer kite and wakeboarding experience, you may only need 1 lesson to get you up on the board!

Give QLD Kitepower a call - $180 and you'll be up and running...

We actually have IKO accredited Instructors too; make sure you check to make sure your instructor is at least IKO Level 1 on the IKO website. (http://www.ikointl.com/iko-instructors-water.php)

Assistant Instructors have no training and aren't actually allowed to take you on an Inflatable kite. Plus they need a Lv1 With them at all times...

Hope to see you out there buddy!
