Im buying my new gear for 2010 and I need to know whats the wind speed on Sandgate during windy day.
15/25nds??
Im from Europe and new in Brissy, thats why I absolutely dont know and ask.
Can someone help me please??
Also, Im looking for kitesurfing partner^^

Hey Andy,
There are quite a few guys that can hook you up with gear around the sandgate area.
Kitepower at clontaff,Surf Connect at sandgate & Briskites at Brighton.
All these guys operate at Sandgate and all coach as well as sell their recommended brand.
This worked for me as well as talking to the local lads as they set up and pulled down gear.
15-25nts is what you can expect most days depending on the season of course.
Last sunday there was nothing all morning then like somone flicked a switch 15-20nt came blowing in.

Hey Andy,
Venture out to Brighton/Sandgate quite allot, and what I can see most people have 10 - 12met kites.
I have recently had my kite getting repaired at Briskites and they have been very helpful, they even lent me a brand new 10mt EVO demo one while my other one was getting repaired.
All we need now is the wind to come back, not looking very good the next week....

My advice to you would be to see either Kite Power or Briskites as i have been burnt by the other company named and found you need to be able to walk into a shop not out the back of a van to get good after sales service.
