I'm planning a camping holiday at Lady Mus in Jan 2016 but can't see anything on KB - Queensland (site under renovation) or anything on National Parks about whether or not kiting is allowed/possible. Anybody got any info?

A little bit of info for you.......

Water launching would be one option if it has to be LM

Looks like an awesome trip. Are you going with Kitesurf 1770 crew or a private charter? Lets us know later with pics, videos how it went. Sounds like fun.

Hey Gilly3 thanks for the pointers - I think the coral might be better off without my beginner moves trawling out a world heritage site! I'll just be packing a snorkel and a book I think (-:
gkawo - in summary the lagoon at LM seems a bit too much of an obstacle course for my skill level, and together with territorial ferry operators too much to take on - especially on a relaxing holiday!
