Hey people. I'm travelling up the coast of QLD at the moment heading to townsville and kiting as much as i can all the way. Right now (Saturday 14th May) i'm in Hervey Bay until monday then driving further north to wherever the kiting is good. If you're keen to join me just let me know here.

Hey there. Your best bet this weekend in HB would be tomorrow (Sun) from about 1.30pm. As the winds are due to be SSE you will need to kite on the south side of the Urangan pier near the aquarium. There will be no flat water there until about 1.30 as low is midday. Monday looks good if the SE's come in, north side of the pier will be nice and flat from 1ish. There should be only about 4 or 5 kiters out so could be nice. I'm Steve, will be flying green Bandit Dos. Let's hope it blows, often when 20-25 knt SSE's are forecast, we're lucky to get 12-16!
