Where is good on the gold coast to kite in southerlys??

Surf: Anywhere from Nobbys Beach to the Seaway, just stay WELL CLEAR of the flagged areas. We usually go right out to the shark nets when passing the flagged areas.

Flat: Shearwater at Runaway Bay or Loders Creek (KFC) at Labrador, but you will need to be weary of the sharks at KFC they are very protective of that area

That's for shore. ...pardon the pun. Kfc is probably the most shark infested waters in Australia. Bull sharks have been spotted there daily
