Hi!

I will come to Brisbane in mid august and stay to end of september and I would love to kite (weekends..) if it is possible this time of year!

How is the wind in august/september? Which are the best spots around Brisbane? What size fo kite do I need and do I need a warm weatsuit?

Im very greatful for all advises, I have never been to Australia...

There are plenty of good spots around here but the wind if very inconsistent this time of year. Mostly between west and south and not real strong although it can be the opposite very quickly! A 12-13m should cover the conditions fairly well for someone around 80kg. I 1mm steamer or good spring suit will be enough although the water is colder then normal in the bay it will warm quickly as we head toward summer.

Have fun!
