Coming up to the sunny warm Gold Coast in September. I'd like to kite Broadbeach. Any restrictions I should know about.

Thanks

Due to the lack of replies I assume that there are no restrictions in kiting Broadbeach or no one can be bothered to answer my simple query.

Thanks for kind and well thought out responses.

Hey Kit33r take it easy on us were not as quick as you folk from the big smoke down south plus there's been no wind for months so i have been asleep for the past 6 weeks
Kiting between broadbeach and surfers is a no go zone
Just south of broady, Nobbies and Miami offer nice open beach breaks with not so many flagged areas.
The spit up near seaworld is the best spot with heaps of room between the flags.
Narrowneck is probably the worst, but paradoxically, the most popular place it is very choppy and there has been heaps of problem with people who don't know the area ending up in the flagged areas. So unless you are really confident in sweepy onshore confined spots it's best to stay clear of Narrowneck
Enjoy your holiday and come up and say hi if yu see us on the beach
