Hi,

I am Pedro from Spain, I am travelling to Cairns on 20th March, I know that is end of the season, but there is still some wind to kite with 10 or 7 meters kite? Where? up to North I know there is more wind but more crocs too... and I am not going to kite in unsafety crocs beaches ....

Thanks
Pedro.

Hola. Como estas?

Crocrodiles are not your main concern. It's the stingers, so please have a full-size stinger suit. However, the stingers are supposed to leave by end of March/April, but ask locals to see if they've seen any. We've had a lot of Northerly winds so hopefully most have been blown south of Mackay, but I doubt it!

HEy Pedro, it is near start of season NOT END ! if you are light/effecient you will be able to use 7 and 10 metre kites. don't worry about crocs , they inhabit from around Hervey bay up to the north. Resist kiting after sun down Enjoy.

Hola! Thank you both,

So good to know full-size suit, which one is typical bluebottle?
About crocs.... where I can find information about beaches? I am going to rent a car and drive myself from Cairns to Cooktown and then to the South!

What this means? Are winds moving from North to South?

One unusual symptom associated with the syndrome is a feeling of "impending doom".[13]Patients have been reported as being so certain they are going to die, they beg their doctors to kill them to get it over with.

Yeah but it's not that bad. I've yet to see a stinger or a shark whilst kiting in Townsville, since 2012. This place is magical. Plenty of wind, flat water, some waves for fun and great down-winders from Magnetic Island to the mainland or back. And that's just Townsville. All over North QLD there are amazing places to kite surf and explore, island hop, etc. And if you really want to avoid any dangers near the shore, head out on a boat to the outer reefs and kite surf sand islands with crystal clear water and plenty of fish and snorkeling as well.
You can't beat North QLD for a kite trip mate.
You'll love it. And you're coming in a good time. The rainy season is almost over.
Enjoy
Y si puedes, venga a visitar nosotros aqui en Townsville. Ay muchos Latinos aqui tambien! Ole!

LOL

You had a Mexican girl teach you something? Wow man. Obviously not paying attention.

Perdoname Lofty = Excuse me Lofty

What she should have taught you is: Ese Lofty es muy dije, y tiene un cuerpo muy guapo!

I'll let you get the translation from her.

I once had an old friend that wanted to impress a Mexican girl out on a date. She was a stunning woman I must say. I taught him to say this ...

"Tu eres linda y muy mariviosa. Yo no quiero estar con nadien mas, pero usted. Su sonrisa y su pello me vuelve loco, y te quiero mucho..."

Don't Google translate it. Just say that line to her and well... you'll be blessed - put it that way.

ps. Townsville is not a **** hole. Only an a bogan without hope would say that, or about any place. You're not a bogan I am sure... right?

Ahoy! I want to do some boat trip! I was planning to go from Cairns to North, Port Douglas up to Cooktown, and after go to South, mission beach down to Townsville!

So loftywinds good to see you if you are there! Do you someone who organize kite boat trip? I think it is not like Philipiness where you rent a small boat everywhere and it was cheap!

Which sizes of kites are you using during this season? Next I week I'll be there!

from port douglas around that time year theyre should be some spinaker class yachts doing some races you can volunteer as balast and theyll take you down to townsville / magnetic island, if the femme fetale is still racing try hit it up might get lucky.

as for yasi i drove with the ****ing thing from atherton to cairns to townsville all way down to airlie trying to escape the **** was stuck in amongst it the whole way. have videos of proof if you really dont believe me but will cost you for making me dig around the old hdds finding it. we had surfable waves right beside airlie lagoon and about a dozen of us were catching waves the morning after theyre
