Hey guys.. just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the orange and green 9m drifter that ended up hooked up and torn apart on the rocks at Currumbin Friday arvo? There was no way of salvaging it at the time due to waves tide wind etc and due to work commitments haven't had a chance of getting back down there! Kite, bar and lines complete! Bugger.. I stood on the rock shedding tears, helpless, as it got pounded to the point of oblivion. If anyone knows its fate... cheers
hey,that was bad bad luck,grabbed the kiteboard(I was surfing Friday arvo)sorry couldn't save the kite.today,Sunday,I retrieved the bar,cut the tangled lines but bar is still usable,let me know your phone number and you can pick it up from currumbin,cheers Brian.
Hey Brian.. yeah man it was such bad luck.. actually went upside down through the lines getting rolled by a wave.. got out of the lines and let it go and it was heading to the beach in a wave til it hit a flat spot and a gust lifted it up and flew it up and over the back breakers.. the rest is history.. anyways.. my number is 0419556774.
