I thought Wed was good but today from about 11am to 2pm was unbelievable. Rory..... surprised you weren't there mate, did you have that thing called "work" holding you back.? Troy pity you weren't there, you missed it big fella, your ear must have been burning, but mate just to let you know, your girlfriend now out kites you by a mile. She was amazing today. Mate there was no way I was going to miss todays session,I was just on the late shift. I got into the water at 3pm and stayed to six once again it was truely epic.
The wind was magic and very stable and the water was super smooth. How good would it be to get paid to kite surf every day.....
I got there around 2:30 and it was fantastic. First time at KFC. So much better than shearwater by 100%. Nice and smooth. I think it's my new favorite spot on the GC.
Did smash pretty hard into some shallow water and my board claimed a fair bit of skin off my legs but I guess I just need to get to know the place more and where the sand banks are and then not jump on them... lol
