You've gotta be kidding me. For the last 6 weeks I've stared frustratedly at the wind readings waiting for the chance to test out my new Cardboard Freeride. The day after I leave Qld for a 3 week family visit to the UK my phone rings with mates about to head out on the water, and it looks good for the next few days. I, however, am enjoying an English "summer" where it was 9 degrees when I landed, lovely!

Just to make you feel better the SE was awesome today and looks good for the next couple of days to come.

Have been keeping a close eye on that... in the office

Isnt it just another gusty Southerly? (e.g 10-18-kts sheltered by land)

It was a little up and down but nothing like a westerly. Wed Thurs and fri all had wind.
