Hi all,
I am going to the Gold Coast for three nights next week and was wondering where the best spot is to kite board. Wednesday is a really strong SE forecast and looks good
Yep, big swell coming in too ![]()
What are u after, flat water? waves?
Where are u staying? Do u have transport?
I will also be on the Goldie the week after next, hope to do some dwinders while there - if anyone going & wants some company please pm me. I have my own transport & been kiting 7 years.
Otherwise, best wave spot near the Casino ?
Cheers, Mick
Thanks for replying guys
I will have access to a car and happy to ride in flat water or surf.
Will check where I am staying

No worries Mick, always up for a downwinder. Northerly's we would usually go from Main Beach to Currumbin (approx. 35-40 k's), southerly from Nobbys Beach to the spit (approx. 20-25 k's).
Best wave spot near the 'Big House' would be Nobbys Beach. Standard rules apply for flagged areas, 200m out and 50m either side, no go zone.
Pm me ur number mate, hopefully the wind gods will be nice to u
. Next week looking epic....
rsh: as above for waves, for flat water try Loders Creek (kfc) or Shearwater Park at Runaway Bay. Plenty of locals rock up at either spot and are more than happy to give a helping hand and some local knowledge....
