I started kiting just under 12 months ago and bought a full set up, all Liquid Force from brighton, most people from around here would know who off. anyhow i have had about 6 or 7 uses out of my kite, Its never hit the beach but now has a slow leak next to the center strut on the leading edge above the inlet valve. I have been told by the seller that it has no warrantee and he will give me a quote to fix it. Is it just me or is this bad after sales service.
I'f it were me I'd goto your local poolshop ,get some vinyl glue (you by it in a kit used to repair pool liners ) pop leading edge bladder out and fix it. you can also buy bladder repair kits from your local kiteshop (Briskites) they won't bite you.
Thanks for that. its always handy to find out tricks. As you know kites arent cheep and i didnt want to make it worse doing it myself.
You havin a laugh or wot? Used the kite for 12 months then take it back for warranty claim? You're the type of customers no shops want to hav. You must be a loner. Stop kiting. You dont belong in the sport.
You obviously dont read or are very arrogant. I have been to two different shops about this problem and they both said it was justified, one of them helped me fix it and now have my business. I have moved on with a new kite and better service so maby you should keep your ****ty attitude to yourself. If you want to pay thousands of dollars for a product only to use it a few times before it has a proven manufacture fault then more fool you. Im no loner, i have plenty of good friends in this sport, and its hard to find a kiter here with a high and mighty im to good attitude that your showing to me. I would never tell anyone they dont belong in this sport, its not my place to and its not yours either.
Thanks for your ****ty opinion.
Don't stress Jas... It's prob just the man himself or one of his brainwashed little boys.
They have a habbit of carrying out personal attacks when anything negative is said about the Almighty LF brand.
... Saying that, we don't need to be pimping other brands too hard either. The more kites you fly the more you'll like.
Cya on the water dude..... If the wind ever comes back [}:)]
Well said Jas
i am pretty new to the sport and the shop i deal in brissie with have been spot on
i am glad you have got your kite sorted.
Blow baby blow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you ever leave your kite in the heat. That can cause the plastic welding to come apart and also sometimes you just get a lemon kite which I"ve seen happen with nearly every kite brand. I try all kites and aren't very fond of the LF kites. Theres alot of better brands setting higher standards and also cheaper but unfortunately when shops sell for a certain brand of coarse they'll tell you that there the best. Although there are some great kite shops in Brissy doing a good job.
