Hi
I've seeing a lot of people doing kite alone. This is a beautiful sport and an amazing way to find new colleagues/friends.
I am new in the City and is really hard to make a team to share sessions/trips or dinners
I want to propose an idea to introduce yourself, and try to make a nice group of people to kite together
My name is Nicolas, I am from Argentina and I've been living in Australia for 1 year.
Kite: LF 10.5
Experience: 1 year
Location: I use to kite in Sandgate
Training: Gym during the week in Morningside
If someone wants to make a training team during the week, I am keen to be part of.
Cheers
Nico.
In Hervey Bay were the wind is playing tricks on me at the moment . We do a lot of trips to double island point during summer is a great place to go but the stars and moons have to align before the wind is good there . But when it is good it is really good .
Happy winds to ya see you on the water one day .
Hey Nicoy,
Not sure what you are looking for. Is it just a group to kite together?
If you kite on the South Side just show up to Wello or Victoria Point and introduce yourself.
Same goes for Brighton, it has a large group of welcoming regulars.

Hey Jas
Yes I am new in Brisbane and I've just wanted to be involved in the comunity. I used to kite in the north side, but next time I will go to the south to find new places to kite.
See you in the water
Hi Nicoy, where are your going to kite or want to kite, regularly head down the Gold Coast kiting. Have a good group of friends & always meeting new kiters most of the time.
Hey mate. Pretty much any beach you kite at is full of nice guys and girls who are more than opproachable. Drop into any of the shops on the north side like bris kites or Kitepower and introduce yourself because both have a good crew of kiters who over the coming season you will more than likely get to know. I have moved from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and have found another good bunch to mix with down here. Just get out there and mingle and you will be right
Cheers,
Jason
Hey Guys
Thanks for the advice. I usually kite in sandgate but I am trying to find new places to kite on the weekend. My next place is gonna be the Gold Coast.
Where do you kite over there?
Cheers
Nico
Hi Guys,
I've recently moved to Brisbane myself and keen to get out on the water!
Experience: Beginner (2yrs)
Kite: Cabrinha Switchblade 12m
Board: Underground (old)
Location: Sandgate (closest?)
See you on the water!
Chris.
Yeah I was there yesterday but didn't get out, just had a good look at the place. Sandgate was busy with a kite school running so went up to Brighton, looked alright.....might head down there later today, the SE looks good for today.
Cheers,
Chris.
