Hi all,

Toying with the idea of getting a 3rd kite, I currently have a 14m & 10m north rebel. 90kg intermediate rider.
Would it be worth getting a smaller kite for the bigger winds, or a 12m to bridge the gaps?
Or suck up and be happy with what I have. ............ Or try another kite brand (not that there is anything wrong with north)

If we say get a smaller kite, then there'll be no more wind this year.

If your staying local, I would go a zephyr, but then we'll would get some crazy wind from out of nowhere

There are a few trips going, FNQ and PNG where your 10m would get a good work out in the up coming months

I think I'll stick to the 14m a my low wind kite, if I can't get going on the 14m it will be a lawn mowing session anyway. I am comfortable holding down the 10m to just above 30kts, but find at times the 10m a little too small to boost when the 14m is to big. Hmmm might have to repost this in the first world problems thread

Lol, I think it's because I am 6 foot 4. not because I'm built like a foam mattress lol. Fair call though.

Don't get a 12. If you have 10, 12, 14 you'll never be able to decide which one is right.
I run 11, 17 and 2 boards - but my kites are ozone edge/zephyr so they have huge ranges..

8m c or c like kite or bridle c or whatever maybe a pure c anyways fact is im in simular situation as you ive got a 13m bow and a 10m bow im having a really hard time decideing to get my next kite because i want a c kite but the one i wants size is a 9 or a 7. i just wish they made an 8 so bad that im hoping maybe the 2014 will have an 8 available.
i just have this horrible feeling if i get a 7m ill never get to use it. allso my 10m could do with replaceing so a 9m would nicely obsolete it.

so im looking at dieting on a 7m or full wetsuiting on the 9m and a few buckets of kfc

Keep them, start saving now and when your ready to trade up take them in and trade for new quiver your weight would be good for 8m 12m and 17m with a TT board this should cover you from around 15-40knots that's with most deltas and hybrid kites like Norths Banits Cores Ozones ect ect to save money shop around BWS, Epic, Switch and Griffins are all cheaper, also best 2 kite combo would be 9m & 14m griffin Argo or ozone zephyr with a 139 to 141 TT and around 45 wide this would also pretty much cover you for everything
