Hi everybody,

I'm Daniel from Germany and here in Brisbane for 2 months for internship.

I brang my whole kitesurf equipment and hoped to have many cool kitesurfsessions here.
But now I'm here and realise, that the Beach is pretty far away from the city.

Can somebody give me some information, where it's cheap to go, not so far away?

Or are they maybe arranging rides or something like that?

I would really hope to get a few times on the water.

Thanks,
Daniel

Thanks for that!

Unfortunately I was pretty ill this weekend, otherwise I would have come with you. Would be very nice if you could tell me next time again? If you don't mind...

How is Sandgate like? I need a spot where I could go and it's no problem to start kitesurfing, even if there's nobody else (because I don't know how many Australians like the weather in winter here ). So let's say a spot with no dangers, so that it doesn't matter if I get no spot-instruction.

Sandgate is pretty much free of dangers, and plenty of people around to help out if there's even a sniff of wind. Friendly folks, so just ask anyone for tips on the day.
