looking to upgrade my 12m cabrinha element and by the sounds of all the reviews the best option is a hybrid/sle - the big wind range makes this attractive as I intend to travel with one kite in the future.

I can not make up my mind between the RRD Hyper type or airush flow sle (or even naish boxer sle) as they all have fantastic reviews.

Furthermore I do not know which size to get as a replacement for my 12m C - which was perfect for me most summer days (also have 9 and 16 c's) - I hear that these sles are more powerful - the rrd in particular.

Am I asking for trouble by replacing the 12m c with a 12m sle or will the depower on these babies make it reasonable? I guess this kite will be usable from 15-25 knots (most kiting days).

I weigh about 80k or less - ride a 135 tt thorn board

so which is 12m flow / hyper type or something else

If you are after a SLE Hybrid thingy, replace your 12m C with a 10m SLE Flow and you will be just fine.
