i have a reasonably new slingshot safety system and it has quick clips and havin a bit of nautical background i know they are trouble they fold back on themselves and unclip cauzing serious problems. trust me this is serious i have lost my whole kite b4 the chicken loop stuffed up and came out so i body dragged back to shore and thought i would use my safety nope the whole kite took off up the beach (thnx to the guys who grabbed it 4 me) but yeah be cautious of these clips they are a simple carribenah (bad speller) like used in rock climbing. stay away from these scary stuff happens

Not to sure how you had your safty hooked up but I've found the 06 slingshot bunji system the best ever combined with a 5th line set up. the new chicken loop design gives riders a number of safty options esspecially when doing unhooked tricks. the best thing i would suggest to do is contack your nearest dealer and get them to show you the dvd that comes with all the new kites it also has some sik footage of ruben lenton if you have any dramas contact me at hookworm_419@hotmail.com and i'll hook you up
