had the 10m 4 a bit now and have had a couple of dramas where the kite while powered turning ect somehow the middle of the l.e dramps in on itself then pops back out but have had a couple of times where it spun out. Weird and dont know whats goin on. Has this happened to anyone too?

maybe 5th line too tight and it is inverting the LE. try it a bit slacker or pull on some depower to shorten front lines.
Never heard anything or seen any rebel do that before?
I'm sure it must have something to do with 5th line or leadingedge pressure.
Seems strange.

I think it may be the 5th....too tight. Will check it out but i am pretty sure its good.
Has happend on my twelve before now once same situation, driving the kite hard like in a loop and the whole thing folds in on itself.
The kite just ends up in a ball in a mess and a swim in is all you can do.
Its the 5th. I am sure too tight.
I did a loop with a tight 5th yesterday, kite qivered ready to do the ball thing, but just managed to hold its shape.
Went in slackend the 5th considerably, suddenly i had heaps more grunt and no sign of a ball thing happening.
Did heaps of hard fast loops with no problem except a bit sore after a couple of spills.
On the vid the rider wipes out way downwind of the kite after a loop i think. consequently the kite luffs, falls and tumbles and tumbles and tumbles.....nasty
It is a very similar symptom to that displayed by GKSonics.
that was caused by too much transfer of load to the centre of the bridle.
definitely it is the 5th line tension, and probably caused by the stretching of the center lines.
rather than lengthening the 5th, try shortening the front lines this may
also cure some oversheeting that has snook into the behavior.
that behavior shows in this "why am I not going upwind, I used to in this strength wind." type mind ramblings.
