The new Cabrinha boards are sweet. THe Custom has a lot of rocker which means that it will be slower on the water but with loads of pop which is ideal for wakestyle as the landings are slower and more controlable, they have the extra inserts so you can easily fit bindings if you choose. The Imperial has a flatter rocker line so it is quicker on the water. It isn't as wide as the Custom so choppy water can be tricky for some, the rest would love the board for its speed! So basically if you are into Wakestyle get the Custom and if you like riding with mates and having fun doing anything the Imperial is the way forward. Give the guys at Glascraft a call on 0882902200 for more information.

Happy riding.

yeah the new Custom and Imperials are both awesome boards. Both feel really nice. Custom is definately better for wakestyle stuff i recon. huge rocker and heaps of pop. Imperial has heaps of pop but not as much as Custom.

Love them boths.

hey man, the new cab boards are a big improvment on last years. The imperial and custom are completely different and achieve exactly what each was designed for. If you like fast cruising and free-ride go imperial, if you're into wakestyle with a "skatey" feel go custom. WindSurfNSnow at collaroy have them on free demo.

I had last years custom, but after a small problem with the board cabrinha suprisingly replaced it with no problems. I opted to replace with the new imperial, but haven't had a chance to take it out yet. It is a great looking board.

I would highly recommend a cabrinha board, even just based on their great customer service and support.

I hope to get out tommorrow on my new imperial and will let you know.

I used my imperial '33 for the first time yesterday and it was awesome. It felt like it belonged under me, (which I never felt with my 05 Custom) and was like all the best bits of mates boards that I had ridden rolled into one.

It was much quicker than my 05 Custom, cut harder, and jumped higher but was forgiving on poor landings. (I do that a bit!!)

It is supposed to be a bit slower to plane than the Custom, But I didn't notice it.

I haven't ridden a lot of boards, and I am a recreational rider, but I feel as though I have found the right board for me.

Worth a ride if your looking for a new board.

Thanks all for your input, i went and bought the new underground flx instead, loved the new cabrinhas but will was worried as my mate snapped two of last years 06's, i know they have a complete new construction method and haven't heard one bad report of the 07's but opted for the flx instead and am very happy with it.
Monkey try hitting cabrinha up because it was a design fault in the board so i have heard and they have had a lot of returns, worth a try.
