Hey,
I have a Mystic Warrior 2 harness and used it over the past season.
After using a seat harness and suffering serious chaffing and discomfort it was bliss! I can't say I have much experience with other waist harnesses, but seeing as my Dad and Brother both have mystics we thought the girls version would be good.
i find it very comfortable, although the sizes are quite large - I have the XS and still have it on the tightest settings possible, so maybe try on a few sizes before you buy and go for the smaller size if you can. In terms of design, it is pretty similar to my brother mystic in terms of shape so all the stuff about supporting the "women's curves" is probably just a sales tactic.
Overall I would definitely recommend the harness, they look great, seem to last quite a while and do the job well :)
Any other questions just ask!

Hey Sonya
Your harness is almost certainly the hardest thing to get right. And this has little to do with which one may be better than another. The best harness for you is the one that is the most comfortable. That can be any brand, any price and either waist or seat.
Its good to ask around about others experience but I would only relate that to things like getting it on & off and longevity.
But even then a bit of hassle getting it on & off would be a small price to pay for something that worked really well once its on.
And likewise; better to have a really comfy harness that may only last a couple of seasons than an uncomfortable one that may last 4 or 5.
Try lots and try them under stress in the shop - very important. Discomfort usually only shows when you swing around under your full weight.
Good luck.
The first mystic warrior ladies was just a mans harness sized down. I have got a warrior, a wahine, and also a seat harness and find myself going back to the seat all the time - still hate them all. The wahine is better than the warrior because it's cut narrow above the hips - but finding a comfy harness is very personal (even for the guys.) you just have to keep trying.
