At the moment i have a 9m 07 rebel but am looking to buy a bigger kite like a 11 or 12m. I am looking at getting a c-kite and have heard that the vegas and torch are the way to go... Has anyone tried both these kites? which did you find better? what other c-kites should i consider?

IMO i liked the torch the best out fo the 2.., the torch isnt quite as fast which is nice for freestyle etc and the vegas is a very fast kite for people wanting that style.

both pop well boost well loop well etc.. the only problem is its very xpensive n hard to get your hands on torches this year as none have been braught in and you have to special order them which IMO would make me choose teh vegas as the difference isnt that radical that id want to have the extra expense and waiting time.

can't go wrong with the 08 vegas...I'd stick with same brand...never tried the torch but does seem to get a good wrap...vegas is a very smooth and forgiving c kite..I haves used my 10 from 16 knots to winds around 28 gusting to 33...so its got plenty of depower..the vegas turns around its wingtips as opposed to the rebel which turns more on it axis...but if u want light wind range I'd go the 08 rebel for that purpose.

08 Vegas for sure ...apparently the torch is great .but i love the feeling of the 08 vegas.
i ride a 12m in 15 to 30 knots i m 80kg.

it turn fast
boost huge
good hangtime but not as much as bow kites.
still really good for freestyle
kiteloop quit fast

however the 07 is a piece of S***.

thanks gruezy ....i feel clever now aahaah

torch generates more power in the loops though. and is nicer for freestyle as its nt hyper sensitive to bar movement unhooked like the vegas is.. id love a quiver of either tho

Mate, 08 vegas is gold, 12 meter is my biggest size, and I can go out from about 12kts to 20. two settings on the back line let you slow down the speed , same as the rebel I think if you like a slow kite ( if its windy maybe ), and when it's light put it on fast mode for more power
