Thinking about getting a new board. From what I can gather difference between Jaime SLS and Concept Blue is the trade off between slightly more control and pop but harder on the knees and whatnot (SLS) vs slightly more comfort in chop etc (CB). Also heard the SLS is more prone to wear, delaminating etc.

Can anyone comment from lived experience with recent versions of either/both?

Pretty much the SLS is stiffer and has more pop. I would base it on your weight and how choppy your local conditions are.I have a 3 year old SLS here with no issues.

I ended up getting the SLS (139, I'm ~80kg). Haven't tried the Concept Blue but very happy with SLS. Seems to deal with the chop well enough for my tastes and it's more poppy than the Cabrinha XCaliber Wood I was using before (which was already very good).
