After having ridden quite a few different styles of quick release safety bungees , designed for 5th line safety or single line safety engagement I have finally found a quality bungee that works perfectly as a suicide aswell.

I found that riding any of the safeties that has a scissor type metal spring clip it enevitably looses it's springyness after getting sand in and being used a bit and eventually undoes itself when it likes.. if you hook it onto a large round chickenloop it would unclip under load or especially under load if it was twisted slightly or being pulled from one side. worked fine as a 5th line or safety line but always came undone when being used a suicide sending the kite miles downwind. Also the velcroe style Quick release on some setups also comes ondone under load ( suicide) but works fine as just a safety or 5th line engager...

so I have now tried the new naish bungee which has two metal stainless clips and one small tube safety at one end. It's the sweatest safety I have seen or used by far.. the clips can't come undone without using your hands, and the safety release doesn't wear out or accidentally engage but works 100% of the time. a little pricey but for piece of mind knowing your kite will NEVER EVER accidentally come off AND you still have the safety release thats available anytime, it's awesome! one of the best choices for the bow riders or any kiters who are runing a suicide setup

have 5 naish leashes sitting here all with the sewing on the neoprene completely ****ed. Leashes are useless now.

The neoprene is stretchy, but the stitching isnt. Causing the stiching to fail.

Apart from them all being frikken useless now, they are awesome.

If I remember correctly the neoprene is only cosmetic. I could be wrong though.
