Hey guys I have. A 7m reo and have been out in stuff where I wish I had a smaller kite. I like to use a surfboard and don't like being overpowered. Is the gap between a 7m and 6m too small? should I be really looking at a 5m?

someone mentioned the jump between 6 and 7 is large enough to warrant both kites but it doesn't ring too true. Any real world experience?

I normally have 2 m difference in my REO's
6, 8,10,12 m is my norm with our conditions here in Vic And on surf board We have storm fronts and strong North winds Did try without 6 m last season and missed it This season will have 6 m again

I am riding 7m? Reo v7 UX and 6m? Dacron V7 - there is substantial difference at my ~70kg weigth that I can feel the differences. There are conditions that I am overpowered on the 7m? with surfboard, while 6m? delivers smoother&better experience. The area difference is ~15% between those 2 sizes, which is roughly equivalent to difference between 11m? and 13m?.
