I know this is the wrong time of year to be talking about kiting in board shorts but they are probably at their cheapest at the moment.

Jet pilot make these boardies for wakeboarding as they have 2mm neoprene built into the inside of the boardies as a seperate layer of material ie, when you put the shorts on , it looks like your putting on a pair of bike shorts wetsuit mateial on the inside , and they are joined to the actual shorts at the waistline, but on the outside they look like normal shorts. Good idea ,i think neil pride has a similar pair but their inner shorts are stud bolted to the waist for easy removal so i don't know how comfortable that would be with a harness digging the studs in over the top

If you ride in a waist harnees they are good if you don't like being aenima'd. but they are on the x'y side $100+

You must be really bored up there in the middle of no where! hehehehe

Good review though!

They also make them in Female styles and they stop the dreaded rubbing of a seat harness as well!

Hey dachopper

ive had a pair of jetpilot boardies for about 6 months now and would highly recomend em to any kiter. theyre way comfy, n are well made. I,m not sure if the extra padding is gonna do me any good but it feels good to have it there just in case i end up draging my arse down the beach.

Ive just switched over to a waist harness, and the only issue i have with them is that they ride down a bit, so ive got a bit of a plumers crack, but thats more to do with me being a bit of a fat bastard
