Hey guys, Couple of days ago we were able to try out the new F.one Impact SL, both 6m and and 8m, In 20+ knots, Im not going to say to much, but what I have to say is GREAT. These kites handle and feel so good and safe in these wind conditions, also for unhooked kiteloops, the kite is great, It has been designed so that it is not to fast, but not slow either. Perfect, the kiteloops we're not big, but decent,

Anyway, thats all for now..

They look pretty awesome. High Aspect Ratio which is why they loop at a controllable speed.

Would love to give the 9m a go...[}:)]

ooops, I meant LOW aspect ratio...thanks for pointing this out, I typed my reply straight after looking at the fone website which goes to show just where my head was yesterday.
I used to ride a 12m NITRO which was high aspect ratio and in strong wind it was really fast and twitchy which is why I would like to try the Impact SL 9m. Not sure if it would be a good second kite for me though...(78kg 135cm board) the website says 18knots is its low end.

yeh, thats true, at the moment there are only 2 6m Impacts and 1 8m Impact in the country. But if we ever get another NE er, come to Noosa river mouth and we should have it there to be demo'd.
