hello i am new
i wonna buy hybrid kite but i dont know what to buy
Bought ATOM i think good choice!
I will see in few days.
You should buy a dictionary.
just jokes.
It would help if you told us your weight and where you will be kiting to advise on a kite size.
I suggest you buy a trainer kite, about a 2-3m foil kite.
There are lots of reviews on this site and others, I know lots of people like the Flexifoil Atom, others that come to mind - Ozone Instinct (Sport or Light), North Rebel, Cabrinha Switchblade2......
Size obviously depends on wind in area but Re the atom, rebel and SB2 there is no bad decision. All great kites. Some will say this one is better while others will say the complete opposite. It comes down to personal preference. Try them all before you buy.
I know stuff all about snowkiting (although I am a reasonable Snowboarder) but guessing i would think a 12m would be too big for snowkiting (could be wrong). Also was under the impression (also could be wrong) that foils were better for snowkiting.
Well hopefully at Kitestock there will be heaps of demo's to try. I'm also looking at upgrading next season and would love to try all these kites as there is so much written on them on seabreeze....... But when you actually try them, you can cast your own judgement. I'm sure that you wouldn't buy a $2000 car without driving it was well??? or maybe not :P
A 3m Airush trainer for fun play and snow riding. A Liquid Force Hybrid (Havoc) and you are all set mate. Extremely light bar pressure makes kiting so much more enjoyable. Try and demo them with your local supplier. If you are in Brisbane you are welcome to demo them, I have both in my quiver.
dude,
did you just said you already bought the atom?
Then why ask which kite?
I've heard good things about all those kites, some friends of mine dont like the rebel, but its all personal pref.
Personally I'll go with SB2 or Havoc..both great kites that I have tried.
There are actually so many good kites this year, I wouldn't limit yourself to the above.
Try others like the waroo, nova 2, etc as well.
