anybody know if the go pro hd hero sinks or floats?

Rider: Weight,Level (beginner,intermediate,advanced)
Style: Freeriding, Surf, Wake, Freestyle
Weather: ?-? knots
Build Quality: ?/10
Satisfaction: ?/10
Disclosure: (e.g. work at a shop/team rider etc)

Another vote for the ContourHD.
In it's waterproof case, it floats! :D

I just spent two weeks taking mine round Townsville, Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays. Just gotta get time to chop together all the footage. :D

Yea mate they sink like a stone theres a lot of them sitting on the bottom of the ocean over here,the suction mount is hopeless for board mounting and your best to mount the surf mount then seal around the edges with sealant so the water cant get in ,or keep an eye on it as it will start to peel off.

That safety leash is there for a reason...
